Challenge

Our client recognized that there was a need to better identify who the end users of their Learning Management System and other training offerings are, what their needs are, and to build a more detailed picture of their motivations and aspirations.

Approach

Employing human-centered design tools such as 1:1 stakeholder and user interviews, participatory focus groups, and on-site guerrilla interviews, Motivf uncovered insights that were substantiated with an internationally distributed survey.

An iPad on a wooden desk displays a learner persona with sections for leadership needs, learning access, and icons representing various skills, with desk accessories seen in the background..

Outcomes

A set of Learner Archetypes was produced to capture the learning behaviors and motivations of over 120,000 employees, ensuring that the pathways to reach professional goals are aligned with the needs and desires of employees throughout the network.
