GIS Project Manager

Job Summary: Motivf is seeking an experienced and dedicated GIS Project Manager to oversee and manage GIS projects within the organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in supporting enterprise GIS systems and will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and completion of GIS projects. The GIS Project Manager will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure that GIS initiatives align with the company's strategic goals and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and manage GIS projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define project requirements, objectives, and deliverables.

  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.

  • Coordinate and lead project team meetings, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration among team members.

  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or challenges that arise.

  • Ensure data integrity, quality control, and proper documentation of GIS data and processes.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and stakeholders.

  • Prepare and present project reports, updates, and presentations to senior leadership and other stakeholders.

  • Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including CSWF compliance if system access is required.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance GIS processes and practices.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience supporting an Enterprise GIS.

  • Proven experience in managing and delivering GIS projects successfully.

  • Strong understanding of GIS technology, applications, and best practices.

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards related to GIS and data management.

  • CSWF Compliance (if system access is required).
